New West Symphony and Ventura Music Festival present one of those rare musicians whose talent and charisma have made him beloved the world over. Joshua Bell will be joined by dynamic Italian pianist, Alessio Bax, for a wide-ranging and compelling evening. The Ventura Storytellers Project will present "Blended," the fourth show in its second season. Members of the community will be coached by journalists at the Ventura County Star before getting on stage and sharing true, personal stories based on the theme. 

Enjoy food trucks and cocktails, beer, wine or other beverages offered for sale by the venue while sharing the experience of live storytelling. Tickets are $12 each. 

Shows are recommended for those ages 18 and up. Doors open at 5:30 PM

The 50th Annual Oxnard Gem & Mineral Show will host display cases that will showcase the talents and artistic skills of members and guest exhibitors. Activities throughout both days will include gold panning, demonstrations of lapidary techniques, glass-bead making, wire wrapping and rock polishing. A silent auction will offer rock and mineral treasures. On hand will be a select group of dealers with gems, minerals, fossils, stone beads, Idaho opals, silver craft, finished jewelry, tools, lapidary supplies and books about earth science and more.
